Reparations and the DemoKKKcrats

I am so tired of hearing the word “reparations” tossed around by MSM and our possible, but not probable, future Socialists Democrat presidential candidates. I cannot fathom a single person in history who wanted to be a slave. If I had a Retrospect Magic Wand, I would wipe out slavery in America in my first magic wave of the wand. But, I do not have a magic wand.

I also cannot fathom a single person in history who wanted to fight or die in battle to defend America. Our military does not have a “YES/ NO” box that can be checked for that question.

Maybe we should consider paying reparations to all descendants of everyone who has served in the military…after all, every American owes them for our freedom.

“Antifa” is an umbrella term for a loose collection of groups, networks and individuals. Since it is composed of autonomous groups, and thus has no formal organization or membership, it is impossible to know how many groups are active. Antifa groups either form loose support networks, such as NYC Antifa, or operate independently. Activists typically organize protests via social media and through websites and email lists. Some activists have built peer-to-peer networks, or use encrypted-texting services like Signal. According to Salon, it is an organizing strategy, not a group of people. While its numbers cannot be estimated accurately, the movement has grown since the 2016 presidential election and approximately 200 groups currently exist in the U.S., of varying levels of engagement. The activist involved subscribe to a range of ideologies, typically on the left and they include anarchists, socialist and communists along with some liberals and social democrats.

According to Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at the California State University, San Bernardino, antifa activist participate in violent actions because “they believe that elites are controlling the government and the media. So they need to make a statement head-on against the people who they regard as racists.” According to Mark Bray, Dartmouth College historian, the adherents “reject turning to the police or the state to halt the advance of white supremacy. Instead they advocate popular opposition to fascism as we witnessed in Charlottesville.”

According to Columnist Peter Beinart, antifa activist “try to publicly identify white supremacists and get them fired from their jobs and evicted from their apartments”, in addition to disrupting white supremacist rallies, including by force. According to a Washington Post book review, antifia tactics include “no platforming” , i.e. denying their targets platforms from which to speak; obstructing their events and defacing their propaganda; and when antifa activists deem it necessary, deploying violence to deter them. According to National Public Radio, “people who speak for the Antifa movement acknowledge they sometimes carry clubs and sticks” and their “approach is confrontational”. CNN describes antifa as “known for causing damage to property during protests”. Scott Crow, described by CNN as “a longtime Antifa organizer”, argues that destroying is not a form of violence. The groups have been associated with physical violence in public against police, the conservative media, and against people whose political views its activists deem repugnant. Antifa activists used clubs and dyed liquids against the white supremacists in Charlottesville and caused property damage. In one incident, an apparent antifa supporter punched white supremacist Richard Spencer in the face as he was giving an impromptu street interview, and on another occasion, some threw Molotov cocktails in Berkeley, California.

Antifa actions have been subject criticism from Republicans, Democrats, and political commentators in the U.S. media. Then House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi condemned the violence of antifa activists in Berkeley on August 29, 2017. Conservative talk show host on Fox News Laura Ingraham suggested labeling antifa as a terrorist organization. Noam Chomsky described them as “a major gift to the right”. Dissent editor Michael Kazin stated “Non-leftist often see the left as a disruptive, lawless force. Violence tends to confirm that view.”

On the other hand, historian and political organizer Mark Bray has said “Given the historical and current threat that white supremacist and fascist groups pose, it’s clear to me that organized, collective self defense is not only a legitimate response, but lamentably an all-to-necessary response to this threat on too many occasions.”

The Anti-Defamation League stated that “All forms of antifa violence are problematic. Images of these ‘free speech’ protesters being beaten by black-clad and bandana-masked antifa provide right wing extremists with a powerful propaganda tool” but goes on to state “that said, it is important to reject attempts to claim equivalence between antifa and the white supremacist groups they oppose.”

“If our country is to survive and prosper, we must summon the courage to condemn and reject the liberal agenda, and we had better do it soon.” – Walter Williams

Neither antifa or the white supremacists have any place in our society.

Every wonder why A, E, I,O, and U are the vowels? You do not use your tongue to say them.

Most of the Democratic candidates are now pushing for ‘reparations.’ They must know it’s all ludicrous, impractical, and unfair, but it’s another way to divide the country.

Reparations were paid in blood when over 600,000 men died fighting the Civil War. America has already righted the wrong that was slavery.

The reparation talk isn’t really what it seems, though. It’s simply about the Socialist Democrats seizing on any issue that will raise our taxes while making more people dependent on government.

They don’t want us coming together. We are already a divided nation and reparations will only widen the gulf. Our divided nation is already fighting a second civil war, albeit it cold one. We don’t need to turn it into a hot one.

Ambiguous Cat:  Today our articles are like CNN, Washington Post, New York Times, and MSNBC.   The first one is hill-arious.  Hillary giving an address on cyber-security.  That is irony at its best.  She would take a hammer and bottle of Clorox.

The Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of Tibet, which is occupied by our trading buddies the Communist Chinese, says that if his replacement is a female that she should look at least as appealing as the women on Baywatch.

U S A, U S A.  We have been in Afghanistan eighteen ( 18 ) years and Iraq fifteen ( 15 ).   Bring our troops home and try Bush 43 as a war criminal.

8 Minute and 30 Second Eclipse

Explanation: The total phase of the July 2nd solar eclipse lasted about 4 minutes and 30 seconds at the point of maximum eclipse. On the surface of planet Earth, that was about 600 nautical miles north of Easter Island in the Southern Pacific Ocean. But from 37,000 feet above, on a charter flight intercepting the Moon’s shadow, the Moon could be seen to completely block the Sun for about 8 minutes and 30 seconds. With a tailwind at the mid-eclipse intercept point, the plane was traveling around 488 nautical miles per hour chasing along the Moon’s shadow track. From above the clouds this wide-field image of the totally eclipsed Sun and shimmering solar corona over the wing records the spectacular view from a window seat on the sunward side of the aircraft.
