Once in a while we just have to stand back in awe of our government.
The Food Stamp Program (SNAP), supported by our tax money and administered by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest number of free meals and food stamps ever – to 46 million people.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Interior, asks us to “Please Do Not Feed the Animals.” Their stated reason for the policy is because “the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.”
Why don’t we reverse that, less feed the animals, and take the Food Stamps away. I always buy the black oil sunflower seed for the birds. I through out old bread and assorted scraps to the birds and other animals. I always have sugar in the humming bird feeders, and water in the bird baths. Why do I do this you ask? Well I enjoy so very much watching them partake of it all. Now if I took my recliner to the local grocery store and sit there in front and watched everyone come through using their food stamps would I get a lot of enjoyment out of watching them do that. I don’t think so. Some of these people have been on Food Stamps and other free stuff for generations.
Yes, indeed….We have too many Tax Ticks. Every time you turn on the TV, you will see a number to call to get something else free. When will people realize nothing is FREE! TAXES pay for all these freebies. They do not care…Tax Ticks have no conscience.
And most of these people are more physically able to work than us tax payers but we need more IRS agent to keep us in line our so called government has gone to hell
