Undoubtedly political observers will be analyzing the 11/05/24 election for a long time. Imagine if Rush Limbaugh were still alive to enjoy the republican success and discuss the remarkable victories of Donald Trump and all the republicans who will be taking offices throughout the country to help guide our country back in the direction our founders imagined. Even the leftist main stream news media admit it was a mandate for change. Perhaps this time the democrats and the rhinos will not be as successful in obstructing the Trump agenda as they were previously, I certainly hope so.

Much is being said about who the winners and losers of this election are by everyone who can get in front of a TV camera, and innumerable bloggers and political junkies on the Internet, but I believe the biggest winner was America, or perhaps even the whole world.

I believe our country is going to undergo the greatest change since its creation almost 250 years ago. The radical left has taken over the democrat party, and with the help of the dishonest propaganda machine known as the main stream, or legacy, news media, they have convinced about half the population that conservatives are evil, racists, bigots, sexists, misogynists, xenophobes, Nazis, and garbage. They never present any evidence that their assertions are true, apparently to them the truth is self-evident. As Ronald Reagan said their problem is not that they don’t know, it’s that they know so much that isn’t so. When you truly believe your political opposition is evil and unworthy of respect, any means can be employed to defeat, and even destroy them.

The Biden/Harris administration has accelerated the destruction of our country in many ways, but the weaponization of the federal bureaucracy against political opponents is probably the worst. When serious discussions started about limiting free speech during COVID debacle, it was obvious that the country had suffered a serious decline. I believe the Trump/Vance administration is going to begin the process of getting our nation back on the right track.

While it is entirely appropriate to prosecute those who have violated the law, we must resist the temptation, regardless of how appealing it may be, to treat our political adversaries as they have treated us. As conservatives our task will always be more difficult, because it is much easier to destroy than it is to build and preserve. We must educate the democrat voters, who have consumed the leftist propaganda so long that the truth is unknown to them. And we must also not only vigorously oppose all of the attacks from the left on our traditional institutions, we must restore those aspects of our society that have been lost to leftist activism. They never stop chipping away at almost every aspect of society. Each of their tiny pernicious successes destroys more of our society. Their so-called progressivism is nothing new. It has all been tried before. The reason they think it’s new is that it previously failed and has been forgotten. Our modern society has evolved over countless centuries. It’s not perfect, but it is far better than the chaos the left promotes. We must preserve it. After Tuesday’s election I feel much better about our chances of doing so.
