My opinion on Donald Trump

Make no mistake … I’m not posting this for debate. I don’t seek or need commentary. It’s okay if you don’t agree because we are all entitled to our own opinions.

Just consider this … when you think the President is a jerk; he is. He’s a New Yorker … a QUEENS New Yorker. He’s crude and can be rude. He gets his feelings hurt and he’s a hothead. He hits back – harder. He’s made mistakes morally, personally, and professionally – who hasn’t?!?

He’s done things I don’t agree with – all politicians have and still do.

The media hates it when he tweets. Why? Because he goes around the main stream media and gets information out that they don’t want to report.

Let me tell you what else:

He is a guy who demands performance. If you don’t work as hard as he does, you’re fired!

He is a guy who asks lots of questions. The questions he asks aren’t cloaked in fancy “political” phrases … they are “why the hell …” questions.

He doesn’t structure his phrases so that anyone can misconstrue or misinterpret what he says.

He is abrupt and to the point … how many of us are the same way every day?

He is both harsh and kind … most disciplinarians are.

For decades the health industry has thrown away billions of face masks after one use. Trump asks, “Why the hell are we throwing them away? Why not sterilize them and use them numerous times?” They called him stupid. But what are they doing now? Sterilizing face masks.

He’s the guy who gets hospital ships readied in one week when it would have taken bureaucrats weeks or months to get it done.

He’s the guy who gets temporary hospitals built in three days. They said there was no way he could do it.

He’s the guy who gets auto industries to restructure to build ventilators in a business that’s highly regulated by agencies that move like sloths.

He’s the guy who asks “Why aren’t we using drugs that might work on people who are dying; what the hell do we have to lose?”

He’s the guy who restricted travel from China when the Democrats and liberal media were screaming “xenophobia” and “racist” … now they’re wanting to know why he didn’t react sooner.

He’s the guy who campaigned on securing the border – protecting America – in the face of screaming Democrats and the liberal media. (Both Clinton and Obama talked about a crisis at the border and Obama did some things to address the crisis, but they all proved to be insufficient.)

When Trump shut down borders in the midst of the coronavirus virus, they screamed louder. Then the rest of the world followed suit, including the European Union with travel between their member countries.

His policy is always ‘America First.’ For many years we have complained about sending billions abroad while Americans suffer here. He’s minimized that outflow of money.

Has he made mistakes? Yes.

Everyone I know has and does.

The “experts” wouldn’t and haven’t done any better.

Does he change his mind? Yes, who doesn’t?

Trump is working harder than I’ve ever seen a President work … twenty-four-hour days … even when they complain that he takes vacations, he’s at Mara Lago … working.

He isn’t hiding in his office … he’s out front – briefing, answering countless, nonstop questions – every day.

When Trump offers hope, they say he’s lying; and when he’s straight forward, they say he should be hopeful. It’s a no-win situation with the main stream media and left wing liberals, but he will not be deterred.

And when the main stream and social media gaslight with “soundbites,” look at the whole context … it’s almost always a completely different picture than what’s being painted.

I’ll take this kind of leadership six days a week and twice on Sunday over a “polished, nice guy” politician who reads prepared speeches from a teleprompter and answers pre-scripted questions.

He is my President. ❤🇺🇸💯

Share if you agree. If you don’t agree, that’s okay, too. We are all entitled to our opinions, and this is mine.

CATHY’S CORNER

As you know by now, I do spend a lot of time watching the news, I seem to not be able to get enough of it.  I want to be knowledgeable, and up on the latest. I listened to our Great VP Vance as he gave a speech in Munich yesterday at a Security Conference. He spoke on nothing more urgent than mass migration. What worries Vance most is not China or Russia, but the European people need an awakening in their own countries, the taking away of their free speech, and bad politicians. He told them we are in a new Golden Age. We do know that Germany has had several tragedies in which migrants used cars as a weapon to drive through crowds of people. One such incident happened just a few days ago, many were killed. The migrants have done the same thing all over Europe as they have done here in the US. Europe should start taking a stronger stand just as we have here.  I was so impressed with how well Vance spoke. His ability to command the audience was brilliant. He is so well-spoken. I understood his direct approach with no word salad where I was trying to figure out what was really being said.

Just know that behind every strong President is a strong military. We have President Trump and the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth. I heard that recruiting was up, even before Secretary Pete Hegseth was sworn in. We are now seeing manly men moving to the Republican Party, leaving many miserable, unhappy, lonely liberal women behind.

WARNING: Be careful of those pink and blue hair, nose ring wearing, crazy women out there in the grocery stores, and behind the wheel. Just stay far away when you see one. Or carry pepper spray.

I was listening to a podcast of Steve Bannon talking about the political injustice and investigations that the Democrats carried out against the Republican Party, like General Flynn, Navarro, Bannon, Trump, and the J 6ers.  The J6 Federal Justice people were so arrogant and cocky. They thought  Trump was on his way out to never come back again. I am here to tell them that God had other plans.  Now Jack Smith’s team in New York is petrified, they did not get a Pardon. Bannon was saying that a lot of people are going to go to Jail.  We have wanted to see that for years.  It is in God’s timing, I hope I am alive to see it.

Did you know that the Dept of Education spends 82 Billion Dollars a year and the US comes in quite low in a list of countries ahead of us. How shameful! We know that the Teachers Unions were a real cash cow for the Democratic Party.  That should not have been. Then the IRS Agency received 80 Billion Dollars a year to suck as much money from us as they could. Old Joe even hired 85,000 new IRS agents to harass Americans.  I say he was planning on stuffing his pockets more, he thought he still had plenty of time left. Funny how God works isn’t it?

We absolutely do have a great and strong administration now, and we are going to see so many exciting things happen. We all need to back our Party, and above all Pray every day for our good leaders, that they will be wise and strong.  God Bless our Country, Make America Healthy again.

This is amazing…..

Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper too?

Dr Pepper is a carbonated beverage that was created in the 1880s in Waco, Texas by Charles Alderton. It was first served in 1885 and first marketed in the U.S. in 1904. Dr Pepper is marketed as having a unique flavor, and includes variations that are made without high fructose corn syrup, or a diet version. When Dr Pepper was served in 1904 at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition it was made with 23 flavors. The formula for Dr Pepper is a secret, with the actual recipe being kept in two halves in different banks in Dallas, Texas. At one point it was rumored to contain prune juice but the company states this is not true.

With its signature fizzy, sweet, cherry-cola zing, Dr Pepper has long been a Southern-favorite soda. First created over 130 years ago in Waco, Texas, by a pharmacist to serve at his drugstore counter, it’s officially the nation’s oldest major soft drink. (Yes, even including Coca-Cola.) And while we still get to enjoy each of the 23 mystery flavors in the modern-day can, the original recipe made with pure cane sugar is where Southerners’ hearts really lie—served in an iced-down glass bottle, of course.

When taking a glance back at the original glass bottles containing the caffeinated refresher, not many people actually notice the distinct trio of numbers that surround the vintage Dr Pepper logo: 10, 2, and 4. Typically, there are more important tasks in mind than dissecting the packaging, like cracking the bottle open and taking a big ‘ole sip, for example. But the origin of its iconic numbers remains elusive, unless you’re privy to the storied history of the Texas soda. You’re not? Here’s the scoop.

The Dr Pepper Museum in Waco, Texas, walks visitors through the fascinating history and tradition of the original Dr Pepper brand, including the obscure numbers 10, 2, and 4 on the glass bottles. Turns out, Dr Pepper’s first slogan was indeed, “Drink a bite to eat at 10, 2, and 4!” Does it make total sense to us now? Not really, but at the time, it won an ad campaign request put out by the brand after research in the 1920s showed that folks generally suffer from a sugar low around 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. Hence the need for a sugary, bubbly beverage like Dr Pepper to get you going again.

While you won’t see the numbers on the modern-day can, you can still see 10, 2, and 4 on retro glass Dr Pepper bottles.
