You will notice that the only cruel, heartless, species in this segment is a human from Atlanta. I hope that human was left in a cage in the basement wearing Baloo’s tightly adjusted harness.

THIS IS LEO THE AFRICAN LION, BALOO THE BLACK BEAR, and SHERE KHAN THE BENGAL TIGER.
THE THREESOME WERE RESCUED AS BABIES FROM THE BASEMENT OF AN ATLANTA DRUG DEALER’S HOME WHEN IT WAS RAIDED BY AUTHORITIES.
THEY WERE STARVING, TRAUMATIZED AND HAD BACTERIAL INFECTIONS.
SINCE THEN, THEY WERE BROUGHT TO NOAH’S ARK ANIMAL SANCTUARY
WHERE THEY’VE LIVED IN THE SAME HABITAT TOGETHER FOR 13 YEARS.
THE ONLY TIME THE THREE WERE SEPARATED WAS WHEN BALOO WAS SENT TO SURGERY.
WHILE AT THE DRUG DEALER’S HOME, BALOO HAD BEEN MISTREATED, SO PROFOUNDLY THAT THE HARNESS THAT WAS PUT ON HIM HAD GROWN INTO HIS SKIN.
THE TWO CATS WERE DISTRAUGHT AND CRIED FOR THE BEAR’S RETURN WHEN HE WAS AT THE VET’S. SINCE THEN, NO ONE HAS SEPARATED THE GROUP.
THEY CLEARLY BONDED DURING THEIR EARLIEST MEMORIES AND NEVER WANTED TO BE APART.
NOW THEY LIVE TOGETHER AS IF THEY WERE BROTHERS OF THE SAME SPECIES.
THEY PLAY TOGETHER, NUZZLE ONE ANOTHER AND ARE EXTREMELY AFFECTIONATE.
THIS THREESOME IS THE ONLY LION, TIGER AND BEAR LIVING TOGETHER IN THE WORLD.
THEY’RE JUST THAT EXCEPTIONAL.
HUMANS COULD REALLY LEARN FROM THE BOND THAT THESE THREE HAVE.
NO ONE EVER TOLD THEM THEY COULDN’T LOVE ONE ANOTHER, SO THEY DID JUST THAT.
AND NOW, EVEN ALL THESE YEARS LATER, THEY CONTINUE TO DO SO.
THE TRIO ARE AFFECTIONATELY REFERRED TO AS BLT, STANDING FOR BEAR, LION, AND TIGER.
(UPDATE: The famous bear (Baloo), lion (Leo), and tiger (Shere Khan) trio from Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary in Georgia no longer live together. They have all passed away, with the last member, Baloo the bear, recently dying in May 2025. The unlikely, inseparable animal friends were rescued as cubs in 2001.)
Today is December 5, 2025 and I HOPE the drug dealer is STILL CAGED wearing Baloo’s TIGHTLY ADJUSTED HARNESS.

Any Port in a Storm
After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard.
So they pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night.
“I realize it’s terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I’m recently widowed,” she explained. “I’m afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house.”
“Don’t worry,” Jack said. “We’ll be happy to sleep in the barn. And if the weather breaks, we’ll be gone at first light.” The lady agreed, and the men settled in for the night.
Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they went on their way. They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing.
But about nine months later, Jack got an unexpected letter from an attorney.
It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend.
He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked, “Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our ski holiday up North about 9 months ago?”
“Yes, I do,” said Bob.
“Did you, er, happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?”
“Well, um, yes,” Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out. “I have to admit that I did.”
“And did you happen to use my name instead of telling her your real name?”
Bob’s face turned beet red and he said, “Yeah, look, I’m sorry, buddy. I’m afraid I did.” “Why do you ask?”
“She just died and left me everything.”

The Bipolar Jets of KX Andromedae

Explanation: Blasting outward from variable star KX Andromedae, these stunning bipolar jets are 19 light-years long. Recently discovered, they are revealed in unprecedented detail in this deep telescopic image centered on KX And and composed from over 692 hours of combined image data. In fact, KX And is spectroscopically found to be an interacting binary star system consisting of a bright, hot B-type star with a swollen cool giant star as its co-orbiting, close companion. The stellar material from the cool giant star is likely being transferred to the hot B-type star through an accretion disk, with spectacular symmetric jets driven outward perpendicular to the disk itself. The known distance to KX And of 2,500 light-years, angular size of the jets, and estimated inclination of the accretion disk lead to the size estimate for each jet of an astonishing 19 light-years.
