Today is National K9 Veterans Day

National K9 Veterans Day is celebrated on March 13th on the official birthday of the US Army K9 Corps, which was formed in 1942. Joseph White, a retired military working dog trainer, originated the idea for the day.

I salute our four-legged heroes. It’s a day to reflect on their valor, remember those that have passed, and recognize the tireless efforts of active-duty service dogs.

May God Bless you for forwarding this post.

  1. These doge are true heroes in every sense of the word. They not only are able to smell explosives and drugs but they willingly give their lives to protect their handlers. So when ever you see one of these dogs be thankful that they are on duty to protect our solders and nation.
