It sounds as if you could believe someone who seems to have these characteristics.   As with most cities since the 1950’s, any major league sport helps the image of a city.  

They would pay hundreds of millions for a stadium, traffic improvements, and tax breaks.   Now the billionaire owners want a billion dollars forked over by taxpayers to make the billionaire richer.

If the Professional League won’t enforce their owner’s pledges the city should tell them adios.   The problem is city officials are more crooked than the owners.   Look at Boston, NYC, Chicago, L.A., San Fran, Atlanta, Denver, etc.   The teachers unions, American Medical Association, and many non-profits are more crooked than Hamas.
