I believe the good folks at Alcoholics Anonymous who espouse the wisdom of accepting the things we can not change are absolutely correct, and we conservatives need to heed their advice. Ever since I’ve been politically aware it has been painfully obvious that the so-called main stream media (MSM) do not treat conservatives fairly. Everyone who pays any attention knows this. This is not new; it’s been happening for generations. We have to stop wasting our time and energy complaining about it.

 

The left certainly doesn’t care that we’re unhappy about it, and since it advances their agenda there is zero motivation for them to change. We either have to get involved with the existing MSM players so that our positions get some exposure, or we have to create and support our own outlets for news and information. For a long time Matt Drudge seemed to be helping spread conservative views, but that fizzled out many months ago. FoxNews tried to make us believe that they agreed with our philosophy too, but they have abandoned that charade. Although we are a substantial majority of the population, except for Rush Limbaugh and others like him, we don’t have much of a public voice. Instead of complaining about the MSM we must do something to improve our situation. Decades of complaints have made no improvement.

 

The same is true of the left’s election shenanigans. In some areas, for years it has been well know that fraudulent voting was occurring. Why it was tolerated is beyond my comprehension, but we must put an end to this injustice. The will of the American people is being subverted. The 2020 presidential election is a national disgrace. We need to do much more than complain about it. This is absolutely unacceptable. As Howard Beale said in the 1975 film classic Network, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore”. We need to do whatever it takes to fix this.

 

When the 11 Confederate States seceded from the Union in 1860-61 a civil war ensued. Today the democrat party is advocating secession of all 50 states from our Union and fundamentally changing the country. We need to stop this. There’s no one else who can do it.
