I applaud and celebrate our GEORGIA, Pike County Board of Commissioners…..

I applaud and celebrate our Pike County Board of Commissioners on their recent unanimous decision to move forward on making Pike County a Second Amendment Sanctuary County. That is the best news I have heard in a long time.

I could toss in a bunch of Jabberwocky and wish you a frabjous day as we chase each other down the rabbit holes of life. My preference is simplicity and bottom lines. While some would say, “A feathered creature clasped in the manual members is equal in value to a brace in the bosky growth” my summary would be, “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.”

I am sure you remember old episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. In that series, Barney Fife had an often used comment for problem solving. Nip it in the bud! I could not have said it better myself, Barney.

Rest assured, our BOC will hear and read grumblings from the other side of this issue. I wonder what their argument will be? The BOC will be accused of wasting time on problems that do not exist, while ignoring existential crisis like, let me just take a wild guess, potholes and insufficient internet access. I must have psychic powers.

Just remember, no problem existed…..until it did. Once upon a time, there was only ONE illegal immigrant. A stitch in time, saves nine. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. A card laid is a card played, etc.

If only China had used a little forethought and discontinued those delicacies of eating rats and bats….the Coronavirus would not be a threat to the world.

Good Job, Pike County BOC for moving ahead to make Pike County a Second Amendment Sanctuary County.  So many people in Virginia wish someone had been there to guard their Second Amendment Rights. It was not a problem, until it was!

Move ahead, BOC…You are nipping it in the bud.

We are living in remarkable times. A few days ago I had lunch with one of my adult granddaughters. We spoke about the changes I’ve witnessed in my lifetime, and those she undoubtedly will see. 

The technology that is available today is amazing. The computing power built into my new iPhone probably exceeds that of all the world’s computers when I graduated college in 1965. Instant access to information on the Internet makes it possible for anyone to research any subject. It no longer takes hours of searching through numerous books in various libraries to satisfy ones curiosity. It can easily be done from your cellphone or computer in your home or almost anywhere

But, and there is always a but, how do you know that you can trust the information you find? The Internet makes it much easier to publish information than it has ever been. Unfortunately it also makes it easier to publish mis-information. This is especially true with respect to the news.

Over ten years ago I got rid of my TV because at that time I watched little more than news, and the left wing bias in the so-called mainstream media (MSM) was more than I could tolerate. Previously they had kept their liberal bias better concealed, or perhaps I just hadn’t noticed. Since that time the MSM has turned more sharply to the left. Conservatives have done similar things, but in the opposite direction, but this hasn’t corrected the problem. Today everyone posting what they call news on the Internet has an agenda. They manipulate the facts to convey or support their own view. This compounds the problem of acquiring information from people who want to conceal the facts. (Is there any doubt that the coronavirus outbreak in China is far worse than the Chinese government is willing to admit?)

I do not believe any internet news source. So much of what passes for news is nothing more than opinion or untrustworthy poll results, that it is all tainted. I am just as skeptical of the conservative sources as I am of the liberal ones. The entire news media have discarded all of their credibility. I don’t see any way for them to recover.

The good news is that thanks to the members and supporters of Georgia Gun Owners, the Second Amendment movement is more active, mobilized, and engaged than ever before.

More than 35,000 emails (and growing) pouring into the Capitol in Atlanta in favor of Constitutional Carry.

Tens of thousands of emails in OPPOSITION to SB 150, HB 435, and SB 281, nasty gun control bills similar to those introduced and passed in Virginia … some even with Republican support.

The bad news is, we have a Governor who has done a complete 180 from the campaign trail, now refusing to provide public or private leadership on Constitutional Carry.

He’s appointed Ms. Loeffler to the U.S. Senate with the reasoning that she will pull suburban women to the Republican side, yet they are dressing her up in a fake hunting outfit with a shotgun slung over her shoulder trying to appeal to Brian Kemp’s own base.

As I write this, because of the massive pressure legislators and the Governor are getting from GGO members and supporters, they’re working on “compromise” legislation in an attempt to buy you off. 

We’re not buying it.

They think you are so ignorant that you will believe their lies about them “fighting” for your gun rights.  It’s more like fighting for their political survival. 

That’s why I’m asking you today to fire off another round of calls into Governor Kemp’s office, and also email your legislators again insisting they take action on Constitutional Carry (HB 2) and OPPOSE gun controls like SB 150 at all times.

I often wonder if our modern day democrats have developed brain disorders. Normal people with normal brain activity simply would not display the self-destructive behavior as that of democrats.

Remember when Hillarwitch Clinton called Trump supporters a basket of deplorables? The end result being, we needed a bigger basket.

Now Moneymike Bloomberg has insulted our farmers. This is how he explains why farmers can’t work in information technology:

MB: “I can teach anyone how to be a farmer 1 dig a hole 2 put a seed in 3 put dirt on top 4 add water 5 up comes the corn.”

Now think about this, Moneymike has officially (threatened) to ask Hillarwitch to be his running mate in 2020. He has evidently forgotten about the Surprise Demise of Vince Foster and Jeffrey Epstein.

The only way Moneymike could be more self-destructive than having Hillarwitch as a Vice-President is to:

1. Wrap himself in seal skin and go on a picnic with polar bears.

2. Cover himself in honey and run through bear country.

Our Vice-President, Mike Pence, gave the absolute perfect response to Moneymike’s insult to our farmers. He let Paul Harvey reply.

ON MY SOAPBOX….What? Another Recount…

Do you remember the little maps in shopping malls that pointed out your location with a note indicating that….”YOU ARE HERE” with the Big Red X? Those maps gave you a reference point. Then you could easily align yourself with the surrounding stores and plan your shopping spree. I loved those little maps. In retrospect, they were non-electronic, primitive GPS devices. You quickly located a dress shop and your husband found the closest bar…and your problems were resolved for many hours.

Why in the world hasn’t the DNC created a little map with a BIG RED X for Joe Biden? He is more location challenged than me…and brother, let me tell you, that is lost. Poor Quid-Pro-Joe. He probably knows his way around the Ukraine better than Hunter at a strip club, but he is really confused about the map of the United States.

As you will recall, months ago, when he was holding a press conference and was asked about his impression of Keene, New Hampshire, where he was spending most of his weekend appealing to voters, he replied, “What’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?”

Today, while Crazy Joe is in Nevada, he thinks he is in California.

I do not care about the spin of MSM as they announce, “he is traveling to many states.” What do they think 78 year old Socialist Bernie (I had a heart attack) Sanders is doing? Do they think he has a time machine?

Perhaps, Joe Biden is just trying to check off all the 57 states that obama visited.

But what can the Democrats really expect anyway? We know they purchased an abacus, for vote counting, from the Clinton Foundation….but someone, somewhere still has to be smart enough to properly slide the little balls around.
