The world record for the largest record ever counted belongs to Jeremy Harper. He streamed the entire process online and raised money for charity. He reached one million. It took him three months.

In Bridgeport, in the UK, there is a cat named the Artful Dodger who regularly catches the bus by himself to travel ten miles to the neighboring town. He waits at the bus stop so often that the driver brings tins of cat food and knows which stop to release the cat.

On November 7th, 1907, a Mexican railroad worker single-handedly saved the population of the nearby town of Nacozari Sonora by driving a train loaded with dynamite away. The train exploded 3.7 miles outside of the town and killed the man in the process.

A man named Chito rescued a dying crocodile that he named Pocho, but when it recovered the crocodile refused to leave the man’s side, they have been inseparable for over 20 years.

In 2015, a stray cat in Russia known as Masha kept a two-month-old abandoned baby boy warm in freezing temperatures overnight.

A dog named Greyfriars Bobby in Scotland sat by his owner’s grave for fourteen years until he eventually passed away.

Wildlife photographer Alan McFadyen spent 4,200 hours and took 720 thousand photos over a six-year period before he finally got the perfect shot of a Kingfisher diving into the water without making a splash.

Scottish wildlife photographer Alan McFadyen set out to capture a kingfisher diving with no splash, no ripples and no drops. 6 years and 720,000 shots later, he finally got the shot.

Explanation: While cruising around Saturn, be on the lookout for picturesque arrangements of moons, rings, and shadows. One such striking sight occurred in 2005 and was captured by the then Saturn-orbiting Cassini spacecraft. In the featured image, moons Mimas (left) and Tethys (right) are visible on either side of Saturn’s thin rings, which are seen nearly edge-on. Across the top of Saturn are dark shadows of the wide rings, exhibiting their impressive complexity. The violet-light image brings up the texture of the backdrop: Saturn’s clouds. Cassini orbited Saturn from 2004 until mid-2017, when the robotic spacecraft was directed to dive into Saturn to keep it from contaminating any moons.
