Dr. Duncan MacDougal, from Haverhill, Massachusetts, once attempted to prove that the human soul had weight by placing dying patients on a giant scale as they were dying. At the exact moment of death, there was a slight decrease in weight.

In 2014, a woman named Nancy Cohen was moved into a nursing home. Her relocated cat, Cleo, showed up two weeks later, even though the cat had never been there before. Cleo started hanging out on benches until somebody noticed her, now they live together at the facility.

A sixty-three-year-old Tasmanian woman gave birth to her first baby in August of 2016, making her Australia’s oldest new mother.

There is a doctor in Nepal named Sanduk Ruit who has restored vision to over 100,000 people in the developing world.

An adopted man in Michigan named Steve Flaig searched for his birth mother for four years before finally discovering in 2007 that she worked at the same Lowe’s store where he worked. Amazingly, neither of them knew. 

There is a 1966 Volvo with more than three million miles on it.
