The kids of today and many from the end of the last generation do not understand what it means to have their freedoms removed by force and to be killed for what you believe.
Those of us still remaining remember what it was like during the 2nd great war and the Korean war. What we had to go through and the hard times we shared. We have had the gulf wars and now the Ukraine wars. But we as a nation will not understand what it is really like until we have to fight a war on our soil again. Remember Pearl Harbor, that was when we started in earnest to fight in WW 2 . We had entered the wars in Europe but did not worry too much about the war in Japan until they bombed Pearl. We lost many good people both men and women in that war. We need to remember them and what they did to keep us free, OR we will be fighting another war on our soil before long.
